Makes :

4 servings

Difficulty:

Medium

Preparation Time:

10 min (+ 30 minutes cooking time)

Ingredients
  • 1 rack pork ribs, cut into portions

  • 1 packet Mingle BBQ seasoning (35g)*

  • ½ cup BBQ sauce

  • 2 tbsp Saunders’ Malt Extract

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Method
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, Saunders’ Malt Extract, apple cider vinegar and soy sauce to create the marinade.

  2. Rub the ribs generously with the marinade, making sure every piece is well coated. Let them sit for 15–30 minutes.

  3. Once marinated, sprinkle the entire packet of Mingle BBQ seasoning evenly over the ribs to create a dry spice layer.

  4. Place ribs in the air fryer at 180°C and cook for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.

  5. Brush with any extra glaze and air fry for an additional 5 minutes until sticky, golden and caramelised.

Tips:

For extra tenderness, let the ribs rest for 5 minutes after cooking the juices redistribute and the glaze sets perfectly.
