Classic Malted Milkshake with Malteser Rim

Ingredients
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream

  • 200ml full cream milk (or milk of choice)

  • 2 tbsp Saunders’ Malt Extract

  • ¼ cup melted dark or milk chocolate (for rim)

  • ¼ cup crushed Maltesers

  • Whipped cream, to top

  • Extra Maltesers, for garnish

  • 1 tsp Saunders’ Malt Extract, for drizzling

  • Chocolate wafer straw, to serve

Method
  1. Dip the rim of each glass into melted chocolate, then roll in crushed Maltesers. Set aside to firm up.

  2. In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk, and Saunders’ Malt Extract. Blend until thick and creamy.

  3. Pour the milkshake into your decorated glass.

  4. Top with whipped cream, extra Maltesers, and a drizzle of Saunders’ Malt Extract.

  5. Finish with a chocolate wafer straw and serve immediately.
