Malted Energy Bites

A fabulous no-bake energy boost that actually tastes great - what more could you ask for?

Ingredients
  • 250g almond butter

  • 75ml Saunders’ Malt Extract

  • 60g desiccated coconut (plus extra if needed)

  • 50g vanilla whey protein powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp salt

  • Melted white chocolate, for drizzling (optional)

Method
  1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until smooth and well combined.

  2. If the mixture is too dry, add more malt extract; if too wet, add more coconut.

  3. Scoop into 30g portions and roll into balls.

  4. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour to set.

  5. Drizzle with melted white chocolate before serving and dust with cinnamon.

  6. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
